My Old Kentucky (Childhood) Home

When my grandparents bought this little bungalow in the Highlands neighborhood of Louisville, KY back in 1959, they surely had no idea how many fond memories would be made there! It was my home for my entire childhood, and I feel so fortunate to have had the same "home-base" for all those years. Thinking back, it is hard to believe we all squeezed into this little house - much less shared a single bathroom! If the walls of this happy little house could talk, it would tell of countless family gatherings and celebrations, fabulous food, laughter, games, the occasional fight over who got the last Oreo, and the joy we experienced growing up in a large family.
